Product Details

SKU Code: SUB/SS/24TA

This recently upgraded military diver's watch features Tritium GTLS tubes, a scratch and impact-resistant sapphire crystal, and a ceramic bezel. It is one of our latest automatic 24-jewel mechanical military diver's watches, offering exceptional value for its high specifications.

The Gaseous Tritium Light Sources (GTLS) on these watches make them the easiest to see in low light or night conditions. The Tritium vials on the H3 dial illuminate up to 100 times brighter than any other watch dial, allowing you to quickly identify the time at a glance. The watch measures 45mm including the crown and 40mm excluding the crown, using the same 20mm webbing straps as other MWC military diver's watches and many other leading brands, offering a vast range of US pattern nylon webbing straps as well as European NATO straps.

*A lot of people ask us about the benefits of sapphire crystal over a standard mineral crystal. Synthetic sapphire is by far the best material for watch crystals because it is very strong and both shatter and scratch-resistant. These characteristics make it very appealing to military and security personnel, police officers, and people who lead active outdoor lifestyles, which account for over 70% of our customers.

When clients experience cracked crystals, over 90% of the affected watches have mineral glass crystals. Even hardened mineral crystals do not compare to sapphire for durability under adverse conditions. Sapphire crystals are heat-treated to remove internal stresses, enhancing their strength. They are then made into watch crystals with two layers of anti-reflective coating. Interestingly, sapphire crystal is also used on the latest iPhones. Due to its cost, sapphire crystal is typically found only on higher-end watches.
