Introducing the latest MWC self-luminous G10 model from our Combat Elite range. This watch features a titanium case with 300m (1000ft) water resistance, a screw-down crown, a screw caseback, a scratch and shatter-resistant sapphire crystal, and Tritium GTLS light sources on the hands and markers. The digits and triangle are also printed with Luminova for maximum performance during the hours of darkness.

The MWC 300m titanium G10 with a Swiss Ronda 715li movement is among our highest specification general service watches, and it’s the most advanced watch of its kind manufactured anywhere worldwide. This model combines the best of both new and traditional watchmaking technology, retaining all the popular features from the conventional 300m steel models. The titanium case, ultra-low maintenance movement, cutting-edge self-luminous GTLS tritium vials for unbeatable night visibility, and shatter and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal make this the ideal timepiece for military, law enforcement, and security applications.

The specification of this watch follows American Military Specification Number: US MIL-W-46374F, and this model is the 12/24 hour North American market version. The self-luminous system makes the watch very easy to read at night with its high visibility dial. The hour markers and hour and minute hands each have a brightly glowing vial of tritium gas. Even when all the vials are combined, they contain less than the personal limit of 25 millicuries (as per U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations 10 CFR 30.15). Military watches of this type are the easiest in the world to read in low light or total darkness thanks to a self-activated light source that is 100 times brighter than traditional luminous paint. The light-emitting tubes require no battery power or any form of charging and never need servicing or maintenance.

Designed specifically for a government contract, these watches address the need for long-term storage without battery issues. The Ronda 715li movement, with its 10-year battery life, ensures the watch remains ready for use whenever needed.

The standard MWC G10 is one of the most tried and tested military watches, with earlier variants in service since the 1980s. While this model shares a similar design to the steel versions, the titanium case elevates it into a distinct class of watches. The G10 Combat Elite range comes with a US pattern nylon military webbing strap. The reverse of the case features various contract markings.

*Many buyers inquire about the advantages of sapphire crystal over standard mineral crystal. The exceptional strength, shatter resistance, and scratch resistance of synthetic sapphire make it highly desirable for individuals with active lifestyles, particularly among military personnel, security professionals, and police officers, who constitute over 70% of our customer base.

Our observations reveal that over 90% of incidents resulting in cracked watch crystals involve timepieces with mineral glass crystals. Even hardened mineral crystals do not match sapphire's durability, especially in adverse conditions. Sapphire crystals derive their robustness from a meticulous process: post-manufacturing, the sapphire glass undergoes heat treatment to eliminate internal stresses that could compromise its strength. Subsequently, it is transformed into watch crystals and receives two layers of anti-reflective coating.

Undoubtedly, the premium quality of sapphire crystal comes with a corresponding price tag, making it a feature predominantly found in higher-end watches. This investment, however, pays dividends in terms of longevity, resilience, and overall performance, solidifying sapphire crystal's status as the top choice for discerning customers seeking unparalleled durability in their timepieces.
